This explains a great deal. I once woke up after a heavy night out - and I admit well past the cats' breakfast time - to find Dean pushing his paw into my eye and leaning on it. Little git gave me a black eye.
Not quite as expensive a sleep in as the time he climbed into the wardrobe and shredded my work jacket until I woke up. He lives with my ex now.
before he went off to the Ex..i bet you showed him a few more tricks...my mate trained his to Pee in on the chair before she took the chair and the cat..

I don't think Dean needed to be taught any more bad habits then he already had. His sister Pearl wasn't much better. They still send Christmas cards.
