INTERESTING INFORMATION

by jackfrost @ Friday, 16. May, 2008 - 09:47:12

You are what you eat, so eat well. A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called 'The Doctrine of Signatures' was astoundingly correct. It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a body organ or physiological function and that this pattern acts as a signal or sign as to the benefit the food provides the eater. Here is just a short list of examples of Whole Food Signatures.

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and science shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Aubergine, avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

I think you can go even more "precise " than that.. though I can't recall any reference..
Like eat liver to help your liver function
(liver also.. from recall contains a high amount of T4). I guess its eat whatever part you need. I'm trying to make sure I eat some of the joints at present.. for joint function..well the bits in between the bones.. in lamb legs I now compete with my deprived dogs;-) and chicken legs, wings.. I used to just stick to the breasts with no skin . Now just to try to get some without the pesticides and toxins concentrated beneath the skin etc..sigh
I gues you could take it like eat kidneys for kideny health, etc.. but over here we don't seem to be able to buy bits and pieces.
I've just heard this, and I suspect there IS something in it.
I can see the sweetmeats etc being prized, and some cultures eat eyes don't they?

Great stuff - magically the doctrine of signatures works quite well too. So pears were traditionally always regarded as a female tree, and used for magic associated with 'women's problems' ;)

I've heard in France they eat frog legs? I'm notg sure if true.. but if I could get some of those, they should have great knee joints!

I did find in the Uk the butcher's shops had a LOT of thjings I've never seen before.. a way wider selection.
At present I'd like to try to make my own suasages with real intestines.. but I've no idea where to buy any.
Frog's legs too would be good to try if they really are edible.
I think our poor selection these days IS the cuas of so many degenerative type diseases..
You're right as broad a selection as possible, and listen to what your body says it feels like.. I've learnt that it IS usually right on, and afterwards I finsd why it wanted it and how it was replacing what it was short on.
OK, chcoclate and lollies and sugary sweets don't count here folks.. they mislead us (my dogs can also be similarly misled)

So now where do I buy frogs legs(for knee joints), necks maybe (for whiplash), and some intestisnes to try making my own sausages as I cant chew steaks anymore,...

cheers for the info jack my man!

Hmmmm ...

Whoever brought this up had quite a lot of imagination, I think (cynically).

ALL fruits and veg are good for you, and none has just one single influence on the body like the above suggests.

For example: the carrot has not only vitamin A which is good for the eyes, it also has other ingredients. And vitamin A is good for not only the eyes, but for all body cells as well.

But I'm just a cynical skeptic ... ;)

i like this, i wonder how factual it is though.

I'm just learning to appreciate a wider range of foods and to try more new things after last week.. I tried figs, prunes, dates, dried apricots, quinoa, salmon, mackerel, muesli, cashew nuts and prawns and found the all tasty.

Variety is the spice of life!
