Wow,you been to Belize? I lived there for about 45 days.I was in the independence district.I regularly visited placencia beach resort. Also ben to punta gorda and belmopan.Didn't wander much in the belize city due to allegedly high crime rate.
Loved their pristine rain forests, but saw about equivalent of two football fields of rain forest being destroyed in a week.Mainly to be replaced with pine trees which are a cash crop.-

I had a really hard time I was a diving instructor out on St Georges Caye for 8 months. it was hell but somebody had to do it. diving twice a day and living on the island in one of the houses...living off lobster and fresh grouper, snapper etc,..

Then you certainly had seen that hole in the water.I don't remember it's exact name, but its about 100 meter circular hole in the sea, surrounded by shallow coral reefs.

Isn't nature stunningly beautiful sometimes, even if damned dangerous...there's such beauty in these images in spite of the danger as well...mammatus clouds look really ominous though...never heard of them before...great big hugs...XX

Stunning pictures - well done.
And just so you know, the name mammatus derives from the Latin 'mamma', which means breasts. I think it's cos they do look a bit like breasts (or so I've heard) or perhaps udders hanging down beneath the main cloud.-
