I think theyre very funny. But why are they funny??
They wouldnt be funny if they all sounded the same. I think its to do with the unpredictable tone, velocity, volume.
Remember that clip from Blazing Saddles. A cocophony of farts of all types which was what made it hilarious.

You know I have to dissapoint you! This film (Swedish) is spread around the world as an embarrassing episode, but the truth is that this newsreader was doing a story on the subject and the "fart" was only put there as a joke! Apparently, lots of people thought it was for real!
